Globalization does not translate into a single culture or a sole form of communication understandable to all. It remains crucial to note cultural and linguistic details when translating or editing a text for a foreign audience.

Names, titles, ideas and concepts– all have cultural significance which must be taken into account to avoid misunderstandings, and ensure the most effective reception possible. My experience living and working in Spanish and Hebrew speaking countries means that nuance is never taken for granted and potential shortfalls are identified and corrected.
